A five-day intensive workshop was organized by the Guidance Centre for Competitive Examinations from 25 Nov to 29 Nov 2025 to provide rural students with a strategic framework for civil services preparation. Formally inaugurated by Principal Dr. Jobi George following introductory remarks by Member Secretary Dr. Vinita S. Virgandham, the event featured expert speakers from The Unique Academy. The initial technical sessions focused on mastering examination tiers, meticulously analyzing the syllabus and effectively integrating dynamic current affairs with static subjects. Subsequent modules simplified core concepts in Indian Economics and Indian Polity while equipping aspirants with vital time-management and weekly micro-planning techniques. Concluding with overwhelming student feedback, the successful initiative provided a robust analytical foundation for the college’s civil service aspirants through structured, expert-led guidance.

The Women’s Study Centre at Bhiwapur Mahavidyalaya, operating under the aegis of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), successfully organized a comprehensive “150-Hour Yoga and Self-Defence Training Programme for Girls.” The initiative was launched with an inaugural session on Friday, November 14, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. and spanned until January 31, 2026. This vital skill-development program was conducted in collaboration with P.A.A.S Skill Training Institute, Nagpur, which serves as an implementation partner of SPEFL-SC (Sport, Physical Education, Fitness and Leisure Skill Council of India). The intensive practical sessions were held at the Bhausaheb Mulak Memorial Indoor Sports Complex on the college campus under the expert guidance of the designated trainer, Miss Neetu Wagh. Aimed at empowering girl students with critical tools for physical fitness and personal safety, the entire training program was smoothly executed under the supervision of the coordinator, Dr. Vinita S. Virgandham, who serves as the Member Secretary of the Women’s Study Centre.

Under the aegis of IQAC, ‘Students’ Guidance and Placement Cell’ of our College, organized an Investor Awareness Programme on 9th October 2025 in association with the National Stock Exchange (NSE) to promote financial literacy among students. The keynote address was delivered by Mr. Shashant Mishra, Officer-in-Charge, NSE Nagpur, who discussed trading mechanisms, portfolio management, investor protection, and responsible investment practices. Other NSE representatives, including Mr. Badal Wasnik, Mr. Sumit Karwade, and Mr. Himanshu Yadav, were also present. Presiding over the programme, Dr. Jobi George, Principal of our College, emphasized the importance of financial education and informed investment decisions. Asso. Prof. Dr. Raheel Quraishi, conducted the Proceedings, while Asst. Prof. Dr. A. K. Sarwe, proposed the formal Vote of Thanks. A total of 74 students participated and benefited from the informative session.

Under the aegis of IQAC, ‘Students’ Guidance and Placement Cell’, organized a two-day workshop on “Multimedia Content Creation” on 11–12 September 2025 in association with Medhavi Foundation, Kolkata, with support from NASSCOM Foundation and Adobe. The Workshop was inaugurated by Mr. Amar Mondhe, State In-charge (Maharashtra), Medhavi Foundation, who highlighted the importance of digital and creative skills for employability. Master Trainer Mr. Prashant Meshram conducted hands-on sessions on AI-assisted design, social media content development, image and video editing, graphic design, sound formatting, and story writing. The programme was presided over by Prof. Dr. Sunil Shinde, while Asso. Prof. Dr. R. K. Quraishi conducted the Proceedings and Asso. Prof. Dr. R. S. Bahurupi proposed the formal Vote of Thanks. A total of 92 students participated and received certificates facilitated through Adobe Coursera. The Workshop was organized under the guidance of Dr. Jobi George, Principal of our College.

The Cultural Committee of our Institution, under the aegis of our IQAC, celebrated the Birth Anniversary Programme of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan as ‘Teachers’ Day’, though it falls on 5th September, 2025 it was organized on 6th September, 2025 in the Seminar Hall of our College. On this occasion, the ‘Greeting Card Making Competition’ was organized for the students. In all, forty one students participated in the competition.

Mr. Akhilesh Mohod from ICICI Foundation, highlighted the importance of practical skills and introduced the 45-day certificate course, “Troubleshooting and Upkeeping of Home Appliances.” Mr. Shubham Nandardhane, Master Trainer, shared insights into the training process and career opportunities. The programme was conducted by Dr. R. K. Quraishi, Head, Department of English, under the guidance of Dr. Jobi George, Principal of our College. The Session concluded with a formal Vote of Thanks by Mr. Nandardhane. A total of 48 students attended and benefited from the Programme.
