Heavenly Bhausaheb Govindrao Mulak pioneered the foundation of a new era in Higher Education in Vidarbha Region by establishing a Charitable Trust namely Backward Class Youth Relief Committee (B.C.Y.R.C.) in 1974. Bhiwapur Mahavidyalaya was established under the aegis of BCYRC with the noble vision of imparting higher education to the rural youths of Bhiwapur and its adjacent villages. With Arts faculty being established in 1990 and subsequently the Institution blossomed into a big tree offering Commerce in 2002 and B.Sc. in 2012 and B. Voc. in 2019. A team of competent teaching and non- teaching staff along with stakeholders and a strong Alumni base, the Institution has carved a niche for itself in the domain of academics and research.
