M Sc Botany

About the Course

The M.Sc. Botany is an postgraduate program designed to provide students with a strong foundation in the Fundamental Principles of Botany along with Practical Laboratory Skills. The course follows the guidelines of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University and is structured under the NEP-2020 framework. The program is divided into four semesters.

  3. DSE- Elective 1 (Choose any One) 1. Palacobotany and Gymnosperms 2.- Equivalent online course
  4. RM- Research Methodology
  5. LAB 1- Microbiology, Algae, Fungi, Plant Pathology, Bryophytes, Pteridophytes
  6. LAB 2- Palaeobotany, Gymnosperms, Cytology. Genetics, Cell Biology and Research Methodology

Semester II

  1. DSC- Cytology and Genetics
  2. DSC- Plant Physiology and Biochemistry
  3. DSE- Elective 1 (Choose any One) 1. Cell Biology 2. Equivalent online course
  4. OJT- OJT
  5. LAB 1- Plant Physiology, Molecular Biology, Plant Biotechnology, Plant Breeding
  6. LAB 2- Plant Development, Reproduction , Taxonomy, Ecology
