
About the Course
The B.A. Sociology (Major) programme under NEP 2020 is designed to provide multidisciplinary flexible and skill-oriented education. The course focuses on the study of Sociology. The programme aims to develop communication skill, critical thinking, creativity, research ability, and ethical values among students.
As recommended by NEP 2020, the course also includes skill enhancement, vocational training, internships, project work, and interdisciplinary learning opportunities. It promotes Indian languages, regional culture, and holistic personality development while improving employability and academic growth.
