The First Year Students of our Institution were given Orientation about various Institutional Mechanisms adopted for delivering quality education. Information about various Department level and Institute level Committees formed for the purpose of giving wider exposure to students in demonstrating their hidden talents through Curricular, Co-curricular and Extra-curricular activities of the College.

Under the aegis of IQAC, ‘Students’ Guidance and Placement Cell’, organized a two-day workshop on “Multimedia Content Creation” on 11–12 September 2025 in association with Medhavi Foundation, Kolkata, with support from NASSCOM Foundation and Adobe. The Workshop was inaugurated by Mr. Amar Mondhe, State In-charge (Maharashtra), Medhavi Foundation, who highlighted the importance of digital and creative skills for employability. Master Trainer Mr. Prashant Meshram conducted hands-on sessions on AI-assisted design, social media content development, image and video editing, graphic design, sound formatting, and story writing. The programme was presided over by Prof. Dr. Sunil Shinde, while Asso. Prof. Dr. R. K. Quraishi conducted the Proceedings and Asso. Prof. Dr. R. S. Bahurupi proposed the formal Vote of Thanks. A total of 92 students participated and received certificates facilitated through Adobe Coursera. The Workshop was organized under the guidance of Dr. Jobi George, Principal of our College.

The Cultural Committee of our Institution, under the aegis of our IQAC, celebrated the Birth Anniversary Programme of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan as ‘Teachers’ Day’, though it falls on 5th September, 2025 it was organized on 6th September, 2025 in the Seminar Hall of our College. On this occasion, the ‘Greeting Card Making Competition’ was organized for the students. In all, forty one students participated in the competition.

Under the aegis of IQAC, the ‘Students’ Guidance and Placement Cell’ organized a guest lecture on “From Learning to Earning” on 20th August 2025, to promote skill-based education and employment awareness. Mr. Akhilesh Mohod from ICICI Foundation, highlighted the importance of practical skills and introduced the 45-day certificate course, “Troubleshooting and Upkeeping of Home Appliances.” Mr. Shubham Nandardhane, Master Trainer, shared insights into the training process and career opportunities. The programme was conducted by Dr. R. K. Quraishi, Head, Department of English, under the guidance of Dr. Jobi George, Principal of our College. The Session concluded with a formal Vote of Thanks by Mr. Nandardhane. A total of 48 students attended and benefited from the Programme.

Under the aegis of IQAC, Bhiwapur Mahavidyalaya, in association with Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU), organized an ‘Open Campus Recruitment Drive’ by Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) on 11th August 2025. The drive provided employment opportunities to graduates from rural and semi-urban areas for the post of Business Processing Services (BPS). A total of 169 candidates appeared for the written test, of whom 113 qualified for the technical interview round. After successive technical, managerial, and HR rounds, Ms. Pragya Shivsajan Shambharkar, a B.Sc. graduate of Bhiwapur Mahavidyalaya, was selected by TCS. Prior to the drive, an online orientation session was conducted on 8th August 2025 to guide candidates about the recruitment process. The event was successfully coordinated under the guidance of Dr. Jobi George, Principal of our College, with support from Dr. Bhushan Mahajan, Training & Placement Officer, RTMNU, and the TCS recruitment team. The highly competitive selection process marked a significant milestone for the Institution.
Under the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), the Arts faculty of our College, , organized an ‘Orientation Programme’ for newly admitted students of B.A. Part-I from June 16th June, 2025 to 30th June, 2025 at R.N.-2 Annex Building. The programme was presided over by the Principal, Dr. Jobi George, who welcomed the students and briefed them about the College’s institutional mechanisms for quality education.
