Academic Experience
Asst. Prof. Dr. Vinita S. Virgandham has served as an Assistant Professor at Bhiwapur Mahavidyalaya since March 2017, establishing herself as an expert in English Literature, Compulsory English and Communication Skills for B.Voc. Her teaching portfolio extends to modern pedagogical frameworks, including the Indian Knowledge System (IKS), Vocational Skill Courses (VSC), and Skill Enhancement Courses (SEC) across the B.A., B.Com and B.Sc. streams. Beyond the classroom, she is a recognized Subject Matter Expert for syllabus drafting at Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University, Ahmedabad, and the University Institute of Technology, Gadchiroli.

Between 2022 and 2025, she played a pivotal role in institutional governance as NAAC and IQAC Coordinator where she drove accreditation standards and authored critical documentation, seminar frameworks and quality reports. Dr. Virgandham also leads several key initiatives as the Member Secretary for the Guidance Centre for Competitive Examinations, the Women’s Study Centre and the Entrepreneurship Development Cell. Her commitment to holistic student development is further reflected in her service as an NSS Programme Officer and her two-year tenure as an NCC Caretaker Officer (CTO). Throughout her career, she remains dedicated to bridging the gap between academic English and professional employability through vocational training and competitive exam coaching.
