INTRODUCTION

Dhammadip Wasudeo Sahare is a dedicated and passionate academician in the field of Life Sciences, currently pursuing a Ph.D. with a strong foundation in Zoology. With over four years of teaching experience as an Assistant Professor, he is committed to delivering quality education and enhancing students’ understanding through practical and research-oriented approaches. He has qualified several prestigious national-level competitive examinations, including GATE conducted by IIT Delhi, IIT Kharagpur, and IIT Bombay, the Maharashtra State Eligibility Test (SET), Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), and the ICAR Junior Research Fellowship (ICAR-JRF), reflecting his academic excellence and strong subject expertise. His research interests include water quality analysis and fish diversity, supported by hands-on experience in advanced laboratory techniques. Along with academics, he has actively contributed to co-curricular activities. He has represented State four times as a player in state-level sports competitions and once as a coach. He was honoured with the Best Guard Commander Award in the National Cadet Corps (NCC) for his outstanding leadership and parade performance. He was also recognized as the Best NSS Volunteer for his exemplary service and active participation in community development activities under the National Service Scheme (NSS), showcasing his leadership and teamwork skills. He aims to continuously contribute to academic development through quality teaching, innovative research, and student mentorship while inspiring learners to achieve academic excellence and holistic personal growth.

Academic Experience
Worked as an Assistant Professor in Zoology with over Four years of teaching experience, contributing to undergraduate and postgraduate education and the academic development of students.
As an Assistant Professor, he has been actively involved in teaching both undergraduate (B.Sc.) and postgraduate (M.Sc.) students, adopting a student-centered and research-oriented approach to learning. Under his supervision, M.Sc. students have successfully completed research projects in diverse areas of Zoology, including fish diversity, avian fauna, fish market biodiversity, insect diversity, and poultry farming. He has guided students in field surveys, sample collection, species identification, biodiversity assessment, and scientific report writing, enabling them to develop practical research skills alongside theoretical knowledge. Through his mentorship, he encourages scientific thinking, field-based learning, and active participation in research activities.
