INTRODUCTION

Mr. Chetan Sunil Sontakke, Assistant Professor (CHB) in the Department of Chemistry at Bhiwapur Mahavidyalaya, has been serving the institution since June 2026. He has teaching experience at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. He has committed to quality education, research, and academic excellence. He holds Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Chemistry, Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree, and has qualified the Maharashtra State Eligibility Test (MH-SET). He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at Gondwana University, Gadchiroli. He is dedicated to advancing research, fostering innovation, and contributing to the field of chemical sciences through teaching, scholarly activities, and sustainable research practices.

Academic Experience
Mr. Chetan Sunil Sontakke has been working as an Assistant Professor (CHB) in the Department of Chemistry at Janata Mahavidyalaya, Chandrapur from 2025 to 2026 at UG level and 2024 to 2026 at PG level. He has taught undergraduate & postgraduate Chemistry courses and has actively participated in academic and student development activities. His teaching interests include Organic Chemistry, Environmental Chemistry, and Analytical Chemistry. He is committed to promoting scientific thinking through practical learning, research-oriented teaching, and student mentoring.
