INTRODUCTION
Dr. Ashwini P. Dhonge, Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Chemistry, Bhiwapur Mahavidyalaya, Bhiwapur, has been working at the institution since the academic session 2020–2021. She has a total teaching experience of fourteen years.She has authored three books and edited one book, and has contributed seven chapters in various books. She has also published seventeen research papers in national and international journals. Additionally, she has been awarded one international patent by the Australian Government on the topic of manufacturing medicine for kidney stones and has also published one patent in Indian Government.She has completed a minor research project funded by STRC, Gondwana University, Gadchiroli. Furthermore, she has been sanctioned a major research project by the IKS Division, Ministry of Education, Government of India, for the academic session 2026–27.She has received several awards, including Best Research Paper Presentation, Best Paper Award, and Best Poster Presentation Award at various academic platforms. Her areas of interest include Organic Chemistry and Green Chemistry.

- Sc. in Chemistry in 2010 from Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati, securing a First Division.
- Ed. from the same university in 2007 with First Division.
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in 2005 from Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati, again with First Division.
- Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination in 2002
- Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination in 2000 from the Amravati Board.
- Throughout her academic career, she has maintained an excellent academic record, consistently securing First Division in her higher education. Her strong academic background in Chemistry reflects her dedication, sincerity, and commitment to the field.
She has actively guided students in field-based projects such as water sampling from Bhiwapur Tahsil and soil sample analysis from the college campus. Under her guidance, the department also conducts certificate courses for students.
