About the Department

The Department of Political Science was established in the year 1990 with the objective of imparting quality education in Political Theory, Public Administration, International Relations, Comparative Government and Politics, Indian Political System, Contemporary Political Issues and Political Thoughts. The department is committed to developing analytical thinking, democratic values and research values among students.

Student Support and Activities

  These activities enhance students’ knowledge beyond the syllabus and improve communication skills.

Departmental Library

The department has its own well-maintained Departmental Library for students. It contains a sufficient number of textbooks, reference books, and other study materials related to the curriculum. New books are regularly added as per the academic requirements of students and faculty. Furthermore, the department also provides access to a digital library, enabling students to explore e-books, research articles, and online resources to enhance their knowledge and support their academic growth.
