About Backward Class Youth Committee (BCYRC)

Backward Class Youth Committee, founded in 1974, is aimed at the primary objective of the up-liftment of students belonging to backward classes and rural areas. Headed by the founder Heavenly Shri Bahusaheb Mulak, Ex- Minister, Govt. of Maharashtra and Ex- Mayor of Nagpur Municipal Corporation, a man of vast experience and a visionary, the trust began its stride and forayed into the field of conventional and professional education.

Since its inception, the trust has widened its horizons in various fields of academics; Engineering, Medicine, Pharmacy, Teacher Education, Schools, HEIs etc. The trust has grown by leaps and bounds catering to a vast section of the students across Vidarbha region.

With the blessings of the President/ Chairperson Smt. Sumanmala B. Mulak and tutelage, the trust leads by example in times of crisis and upholds the principles formulated.

A guiding force Shri Rajendraji Mulak, the Secretary of the trust and Ex- Minister of State, Govt. of Maharashtra took over the reins after Late Shri. Bahusaheb Mulak. With his selfless devotion for social service for the society, an enterprising, dynamic personality Shri Rajendraji acted as a catalytic force behind the acceleration of the trust’s strides into various educational fields with a pivotal role on the up-liftment of rural youth.

A legacy that continues is now in the hands of the youthful exuberance leadership of Shri. Yashraj B. Mulak.
