On the occasion of the 76th Republic Day, Bhiwapur Mahavidyalaya organized a demonstration of Ancient Indian Games. Under this initiative, students from the junior and senior colleges presented demonstrations of Lathi, duelling (sword), Dandpatta, Bhala, Bhowara, and Chakri. The objective of the programme was to familiarize participants with ancient Indian martial arts and traditional war techniques.
The chief guests\u2014Dr. Narayanraoji Lambat, recipient of Krushi Bhushan Award (M.S.), Mr. Prataprao Borade, Mr. Shankarseth Gupta, and Mr. Vishwanathji Waghamare\u2014along with the chairperson of the programme, Principal Dr. Jobi George, Principal of KDK International School Mrs. Kirthi Nair, and several parents and students, were highly impressed by the performances and expressed keen interest in learning these martial skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
